Nick E. Umberger, 23, of Quakertown died October 28, 2012. Born in Sellersville he was the son of Nina (Parzych) Wolfinger of Quakertown and Eric Umberger of Coopersburg. He loved his job as a Programmer and CNC machinist for Central Machine in Quakertown. He was a 2007 Quakertown graduate and member of the football team. He enjoyed music and playing his guitar. Nick also challenged himself with electronics and fixing electrical components. He appreciated reading and had several book collections. Other interests he had included wake surfing and caring for animals especially cats. He was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown. In addition to his parents he is survived by his step father Jeff Wolfinger and step mother Kelly Umberger. Two brothers Brett Wolfinger at home and Carson Umberger of Boyertown. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Grace Parzych of Trumbauersville and paternal grandmother Beverly Umberger of Coopersburg. His paternal step grandparents Richard and Shirley Wolfinger of Quakertown. Several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Predeceased by his maternal grandfather Eugene Parzych and paternal grandfather Howard Umberger. A mass will be held on Monday, November 5, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown. Call 9:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements.
