Michael N. Gross, 46, of Haycock Twp., died Sunday, August 10, 2008 in his home. He was the companion for 15 years of Anita L. Kafka. Born in Quakertown he was the son of Doris E. (Gery) Diehl of Haycock Twp., and the late Ernest C. Gross, Jr. He was also the step-son of Phillip W. Diehl. He was a self-employed truck driver, prior to that he was a truck driver for Valley Brook Farm in Ottsville. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Applebachsville. Michael was a motorcycle enthusiast and was a member of the Coopersburg Chapter of H.O.G. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during peacetime. In addition to his companion, mother and step-father he is survived by three children Nichole Lewandowski and her husband Matthew of Georgia, Michael of Bethlehem and Sherene Warburton of Virginia. A brother Karl G. of Sellersville and two sisters Charlotte Marks of Center Valley and Sherry Salinos of Texas. A grandson, Joshua. He is also survived by his companions children Lillian Kafka of Virginia and James Kafka of Haycock Twp. Services will be held on Friday, August 15, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church of Applebachsville 837 Old Bethlehem Rd. , Quakertown. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown is in charge of the arrangements. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the family c/o the funeral home.
