Michael G. Grossmyer, 84, of Quakertown died Thursday, May 15, 2008 in LifeQuest Nursing Center Milford Twp. He was the husband of the late Grace (Billman) Grossmyer and the late Edith Grossmyer. Born in Perkasie he was the son of the late Michael & Margaret (Opperman) Grossmyer. He worked in the Shipping Department of Moore Business Forms of Quakertown before retiring. Michael attended St. John's Lutheran Church in Quakertown. He was a life time member of Quakertown West End Fire Co. and a member of Quakertown Masonic Lodge. Michael was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during WW II and a lifetime member of the VFW Forrest Lodge and the Quakertown American Legion Post 242. He is survived by two sisters Margaret Prisnock and her husband Louis of Perkasie, and Anna Booz of Souderton. A brother Martin of Perkasie. He was predeceased by a daughter Michele M. Grossmyer. Services will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA.
