Merrick Y. Huyett, 82, of Georgetown, Maryland died Wednesday, May 18, 2005 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Anne M. (Markham) Huyett. They were married 56 years last July . Born in Wilmington, Delaware he was the son of the late Daniel D. & India (Jervis) Huyett. He retired in 1978 as a sales manager for Carrier Air Conditioning in the Washington D.C. Area and in other Northeast Cities. He was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity at Case Western Reserve in Ohio. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons William Merrick Huyett and his wife Anne of Lodi, California and Richard Lane Huyett and his wife Denise of Quakertown. Three grandchildren Matthew Merrick Huyett, Sarah Elizabeth Benson, and Karla Michelle Huyett. One great grandson Robert Palmer Benson. Services will be held on Monday, May 23, 2005 at 5:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call Monday 4:00-5:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
