Melvin M. Bauman, 81, Quakertown, died November 23rd in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Betty J. (Bloch) Bauman. Prior to his retirement, he was a self-employed farmer. Born in Quakertown, he was the son of the late Henry R. and Annie M. (Myers) Bauman. He was a member of West Swamp Church, the Spinnerstown and Richland Granges, he served as a supervisor for Milford Township for10 years, and was a leader for the North Penn 4H Club. He is survived by three sons, Curtis, of Clarks Summit, Bruce and Scott, both of Quakertown, two daughters, Carol Wilkerson, CT, Audrey Wenger, Hollsopple, PA, three brothers, Harvey, of Ohio, Raymond, of Coopersburg, Horace, of Quakertown, three sisters, Esther Engelman, of Quakertown, Dorothy High, of Coopersburg, and Grace Lininger, of Ohio, and ten grandchildren. He was predeceased by a brother, Andrew, in April 2004. Services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 11:00 A. M. at West Swamp Mennonite Church, Quakertown. Calling hours will be from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to West Swamp Mennonite Church, 2501 Allentown Road, Quakertown 18951. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951 is in charge of the arrangements. Service Information A service summary is not available
