Maynard W. Lewis, 91, of Quakertown died July 12, 2012 at Valley Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Coopersburg. He was the husband of the late Stella T. (Novak) Lewis. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Harry C. & Blanche (Wilson) Lewis. He was a carpenter retiring in 1982 from his families business, Lewis Brothers Builders in Quakertown. After retiring he enjoyed woodworking. Maynard was a member of the Quakertown American Legion Post 242. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving during WW II in the South Pacific. He is survived by two sons Roger, Jerome and his wife Linda, and a daughter Marla and her life-long companion Ed Eisenhart all of Quakertown. A grandson Eric. Predeceased by a brother Harry. Services will be held on Monday, July 16, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the funeral home.
