Mary Marlene Karwowski, 76, of Quakertown died January 23, 2012 in the Hospice House of the VNA of St. Luke's, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Richard S. Karwowski. Born in Telford she was the daughter of the late Peter & Sara (Wampole) Schummer. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Trumbauersville. She is survived by a son Thomas P. and a daughter Diane L. both of Quakertown. A brother James P. Schummer and his wife Joyce of Quakertown. A sister Anna Pettie of Plantation, Florida. She was predeceased by a brother Jack Schummer. Services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at the C. R. Strunk Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
