Mary Ellis

Obituary Mary Ellis, 104 of Quakertown died Monday December 13, 2021, in Independence Court, Quakertown. She was the wife of the late George E. Ellis. Born in Blue Bell she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Annunziata (Bonacci) Catrambone. Mary worked in the admissions department at Fox Chase Hospital and after her retirement continued to volunteer at the hospital for 28 years. She was a member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church in Philadelphia where she sang in the choir for 26 years and was a former treasurer. She enjoyed crocheting. Mary is survived by her children, Bruce Ellis (Marie) of Souderton, Jackie Riche of Hampton, NJ, and Georgie Lewandowski (Bob) of Winthrop, ME. 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.
