Mary Atherholt, 100, of Quakertown died May 30, 2010 in the home of her daughter. She was the wife of the late Harold H. Atherholt. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late George & Caroline (Kuhar) Kurteson. Mary was a member of the Upper Bucks Art League and Palisades Players. She was also active with the Cub Scouts Troop 81 as a den mother. She was a former member of the Missionary Society of Trinity Lutheran Church in Pleasant Valley. Mary was also a plane watcher during WW II. She is survived by a daughter Sylvia J., of Quakertown, two sons James H. of the Villages in Florida and Gary G. of Quakertown. A brother Milton of Coopersburg. Four grandchildren Diane, Shane, Evan, and Laura, two step grandchildren Bryan and Lisa, three great grandchildren Joanne, Colin, and Reese. She was predeceased by a brother George and a grandson Timothy. Memorial services will be held on Friday, June 4, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W.
