Marvin M. Souder

Marvin M. Souder, 89 of Richlandtown died Friday September 15, 2006 in his home. He was the husband of Grace N. (Hager) Souder. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary last December. He was employed by the former Nicholas Hardware Store in Quakertown before retiring in 1982. After retirement he was employed by Magic Kitchen and NAPA Auto Parts. Son of the late John and Sadie (Moyer) Souder. He was an active member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Richlandtown. Marvin was also a member of the Quakertown Masonic Lodge #512 the Lehigh Consistory and the Ground Hog Lodge No. 4. He was also a past V.P. of the Quakertown School Board Authority. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter in law Bonnie, three grand daughters Kelly, Jamie and Daneen and her husband Frank. Eight great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son M. Barry Services will be held on Wednesday September 20, at 11:00 a.m. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, Pa. 18951. Call on Tuesday evening September 19, from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m at the funeral home.
