Marta Straume, 91, of Quakertown died December 26, 2012 in her home. She was the wife of Walter Straume. They were married 66 years last July. She was born in Gramzda, Latvia. Marta was a sewing machine operator for the former David Crystal's of Quakertown. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, gardening, and cooking. She was a member of Latvian Evangelical Lutheran Church of Bucks County and Vicinity. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons Aivars Straume and Martin Straume (Anne). Three grandchildren Kirstin Crouthamel, Erika Straume, and Alex Straume. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2012 from 6:30-8:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
