Obituary Marie Baskin, of Sellersville passed peacefully on September 1, 2019 in her home at the age of 85. She was the wife of the late Richard M. Baskin. Born in Maryland she was the daughter of the late George & Marjorie (Hekee) Brent. In addition to being a dedicated and loving mother, Marie also loved the mountains, raising and breeding various dog breeds, reading, puzzles, and doing crossword puzzles. She also collected dolls and clocks. She was a loving mother to her children Dave Baskin (Kim) of Bristol, Bonnie Clift (John) of Levittown, Michael Baskin of Sellersville, Richard Baskin (Suzi) of Sellersville, Amy Zielinski (Frank) of Quakertown & the late Cynthia Jette. She is also survived by two brothers Ronald Brent of Florida & Michael Brent of Sellersville and a son-in-law Michael Jette of Philadelphia . She was the loving grandmother and great grandmother of 15 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and daughter she was predeceased by three brothers George, Edward, & Donald. Services will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Upper Bucks SPCA 60 Reservoir Rd. Quakertown, PA 18951.
