Marian Rose Kemmerer

Marian Rose Kemmerer of Fontana, California lost her six and a half year battle with Multiple Myeloma on Monday, July 6, 2015 in her home surrounded by loved ones. She was born on June 2, 1932 in Ottsville, Pennsylvania. She was one of nine children to Peter and Ellen (ODonnell) Breiner of Haycock, Pennsylvania. She was predeceased by her husband Charles S. Kemmerer of thirty six years. She is survived by her six children: Byron S Kemmerer and daughter-in-law, Anne of Feasterville, Pennsylvania; Ella M. Rios and son-in-law, Carlos of Center Valley, PA; Sharon R. Knode and son-in-law, Barry of Quakertown, PA; Rose M. Hoke and son-in-law, Brian of Topton, PA; April R. Kemmerer and son-in-law Brian McCloskey of Quakertown, PA; and Christine L. McMasters and son-in-law, Merrell of Fontana, CA. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren: Philip, Beth Ann, Nicole, Colleen, Kimberly, Amanda, Michael, Mercedes, Daniel, Rachael, Andrew, Rebekah, Silver, Jeremy, Samantha, Anthony, Tyler, Alexander, Jonah, and Zachary. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren: Christian, Kirsten, Laniya, Dennis, Ian, Dennise, Derrick, Donte, Brandon, Emma, Molly Rose, Mackenzie, Abigail, Hanna, Addysen, Whitman, Dylan, Aubrey, and Harper. She was predeceased by her grandchildren Dennis and Jennifer. Marian moved to sunny California to enjoy her retirement after working for 30 years at the Ford Motor Company in Lansdale, Pennsylvania. During her retirement, she enjoyed her hobbies of reading, embroidery, sewing, cooking, traveling and most importantly, her love of driving. She also volunteered her time at the Rancho Cucamonga Senior Center and the Friends of the Library for Rancho Cucamonga. Marian was grateful for all the friends she made while volunteering and attending mass at St. Peter and St. Paul in Alta Loma. She was also very appreciative of the care she received at the Cancer Center in Loma Linda Medical Center. Services were held Friday, July 10th at 11:00 with a viewing at 10:00am at the Draper Mortuary, 811 N. Mountain Avenue, Fontana. A memorial service will be held on Friday July 17th at 2:00 at C. R. Strunk Funeral Home,Inc. 821 W. Broad Street, Quakertown, PA. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in honor of Marian and Charles Kemmerer to the American Cancer Society Service Information Memorial Service Friday July 17, 2015 2:00 PM C.R.
