Obituary Margaret E. "Margie" Schmidt, 52, of Quakertown formerly of Hatboro died July 19, 2019 at St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of Robert M. "Rob" Schmidt they were married 22 years in March. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of late Edward and Mary (McElroy), Lloyd. After the death of her parents Margie lived with her late aunt and uncle Helen and Francis Eells. She was last employed at St. Lukes Bone & Joint Institute in Quakertown. She was also a waitress at Lubertos Brick Oven Pizza and Trattoria in Dublin. Margie, a loving mother, enjoyed watching her three boys participate in their many activities. She was a member of St. Isidores Catholic Church in Quakertown and a former member of St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Hatfield. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons Michael Douglas, Edward Francis, and Thomas Gustave. Siblings, Stephen, Michael, Eddie, Tommy, Wally, Millie and a brother in law Jim Hondros. Margie was also survived by many nieces nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister Maryanne Hondros. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday July 25, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Maria Goretti Catholic Church 1601 Derstine Rd. Hatfield PA 19440. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday evening July 24, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown PA 18951. There will be NO calling hours on Thursday please go directly to church.
