Margaret Ann Smakula

Margaret Ann Smakula, 80, of Weatherly died July 6, 2016 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. She was the wife of Wasley Smakula. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Bernard Alfred & Dessie (Kephart) Hagen. She loved her family and her dogs Shortie and Broney. Margaret was a devote Christian and was a member of Saint Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church in Bethlehem. In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters Deborah Hetherington, and Julia Ryan and her husband Michael. Three brothers and four sisters, nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was predeceased by three sons John, Michael, and David, and a grandchild. Services will be held on Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
