Mae T. Althouse, 98, of Quakertown died March 20, 2015 in St. Lukes Hospice House Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Lester Althouse. Born in Quakertown she was the daughter of the late Elvin & Clemmie (Christman) Dubbs. She was a seamstress for various clothing mills in the area before retiring. Mae was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church in Quakertown. She is survived by a son Lester, Jr. (Barbara) of Fogelsville, and a daughter Virginia Boos (Edward) of Quakertown. Two grandchildren Stephen Althouse and Kathleen Sell (Brian) and three great grandchildren Shawn, Joshua and Aleah Sell. She was predeceased by a brother Charles Dubbs and a sister Verna Rittenhouse. Services will be held 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday March 24, 2015 in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
