Louis Surman, 83, of Haycock Twp., died March 23, 2009 in his home. He was the husband of Emily M. (Feikel) Surman. They were married 60 years last June. Born in Haycock Twp., he was the son of the late Joseph and Mary (Seklik) Surman. He retired in October 1986 from the former Bethlehem Steel. Louis was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WW II. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons Kenneth L. and his wife Bellinda of Coopersburg, and Charlie L. and his wife Connie of Center Valley. Five grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
