Lorena E. Brown

Lorena E. Brown passed away peacefully early on Christmas Eve at Phoebe Richland Nursing Home in Richlandtown, aged 89. Rene, a resident of Lake Wales, Florida, was born and raised in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. Rene graduated from South Perk High School, then Lansdale Business School and was employed at US Gauge in Lansdale during the early fifties. Rene and her husband Elwood R. Brown then built a small tool and die shop in Finland, Pennsylvania into a thriving plastic injection molding firm, Midgard, which is still owned and operated by their son Robert. Rene and Elwood were instrumental in the development of trapshooting in the northeast, holding many posts in the Amateur Trapshooting Association over nearly 40 years. Rene will be remembered by the many who knew her for her high intelligence, drive, generosity but especially her wicked sense of humor and capacity for fun. Rene is survived by her son Robert S. Brown, his wife Nancy Brown of Coopersburg, daughter Vicki L. Naugler, wife of Seth Naugler, of Finland and grandchildren Lauren Roeder, Emily Naugler, Weston Brown and Andrew Brown. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
