Linford Schantzenbach, a lifelong resident of the Quakertown area, died October 7th in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was 84. He was the husband of the late Claire B. (Sutton) Schantzenbach. Born in Upper Milford Township, he was the son of the late Edgar and Lillian (Miller) Schantzenbach. Prior to his retirement, Linford worked as a custodian for the former Bethlehem Steel. He was an avid deer hunter who enjoyed working with his hands, especially building houses. He is survived by two sons - James and Alvin; six grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a daughter Patricia D. MacPherson and a brother Earl. Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
