Lester Pilon, 84, of Quakertown, formerly of Athens, Georgia, died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. He was the husband of Jean Marie (Lust) Pilon and the late Margaret E. (Acton) Pilon. Born in Perkins, Michigan, he was the son of the late Harvey J. & Ellen M. (LaClaire) Pilon. Before retirement, he was a Senior Project Manufacturing Engineer for Reliance Electric in Cleveland, Ohio with 42 years of service. Lester was a 3rd Order of St. Francis Minister and a Eucharistic Minister of the Roman Catholic Church and a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown. He was a decorated Veteran of WW II serving in the U.S. Marine Corp., Pacific Theatre. In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons: B. Michael Pilon, Mark K. Pilon, Sean D. Pilon, and Kevin R. Pilon, three daughters: Shannon M. McNeeley, Eileen A. Bromley, and Pegeen S. Wienhold, a sister Lenore Soyring, four step-sons: William Ruitenberg, Charles Ruitenberg, James Ruitenberg, and Nicholas Ruitenberg, 38 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Mitchell J. Pilon. Services will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2006 at 2:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
