Lester M. Fosbenner

Lester M. Fosbenner, 86, of Quakertown died February 17, 2010 in Phoebe Richland Health Care Center, Richlandtown. He was the husband of the late Jeannette B. (Benner) Fosbenner. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late J. Miles and Marion (Edwards) Fosbenner. He was an insurance agent for Prudential Insurance Company in Quakertown before retiring. Lester was a lifetime member of the Quakertown Masonic Lodge #512, and the Springfield Township Lions Club. He was also a member of the Tall Cedars, the Rajah Shrine of Reading, and he was a scoutmaster for the Boy Scouts of America He was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving during WWII and a member of the Quakertown American Legion Post 242. He was a member of First United Church of Christ in Quakertown. Survived by a brother Robert and his wife Barbara of Center Valley. A sister-in-law Grace F. Benner of Quakertown. Many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother Henry and a sister Kathryn Krickory. Calling hours will be on Sunday evening Feb. 21, 2010 from 7:00-8:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Graveside services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
