Leroy W. Ackerman

LeRoy W. Ackerman, 78, of Perkasie died December 12, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. He was the husband of Nancy (Follweiler) Ackerman. They were married 55 years last January. Born in Emmaus he was the son of the late Ralph Ackerman & the late June (Faust) Ackerman Arner Fahringer. He worked for the former Dublin Hosiery before retiring. He enjoyed model trains and planes. In addition to his wife he is survived by a son LeRoy M. Ackerman (Mary) of Allentown. A brother Donald Arner (Sue) of Palmerton, a sister Janet Hillegass of Whitehall. Two grandchildren Erica Hayes (Alexander) Emmaus and Matthew Ackerman of Allentown. One great grandchild Olivia Hayes. Predeceased by a sister Eleanor Hockman.
