Leona M. Miller, 69 of Quakertown formerly of Chalfont died Wednesday August 29, 2007 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. She was the wife of John W. Miller. They would of celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary on Sunday September 2nd. Born in Fountain Hill she was the daughter of the late Emmet E. and Jennie E. (Handelong) Serfass. Leona was a receptionist for American Electronics in Colmar retiring in 1995 after 33 years of service. She was a member of the Women of the Moose in Sellersville and on the Board of Directors of Melody Lakes Park Association. In addition to her husband she is survived by two sons Scott K. and his wife Janice of Iowa City, Iowa and Jeffery A. and his wife Denise L. of Gilbertsville. A brother Gerald E. and his wife Carol of York. Six grandchildren Caitlin, Keith, Matthew, Kyle, Ryan and Kaleb. She was predeceased by a sister Betty Radar and a brother Sherwood. Services will be held on Tuesday September 4, at 11:00 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown Pa. 18951.
