All those who knew Lee L. Myers will miss his jovial and endearing personality as a husband, father, grandfather and friend. Lee L. Myers, 62, of Quakertown died December 16, 2009 in St. Luke's Hospital in Bethlehem. He was the husband of Elaine (Rudewicz) Myers. They were married 36 years. In addition to his loving wife he is survived by two daughters, Janice Russell and her husband Brian of Quakertown and Laurie Skorupa and her husband Andy of Lancaster. He will be greatly missed by his four grandchildren Alexander, Maxwell, Paige and Claire all of the Russell family. He was predeceased by a brother Larry Myers. Born and raised in Quakertown he was the son of the late Frank & Olive (Landis) Myers. He was the manager of Milford/ Trumbauersville Area Water and Sewer Authority. For more than thirty years he dedicated himself to the residents of the township. He was a passionate member of the Masonic Lodge #512 in Quakertown. He most recently held the position of Junior Warden and was past Master for 2 years prior. He contributed over 15 years to the organization. In years past he served as president for the Quakertown Kiwanis. His wife will miss relaxing Sundays in the sun room, debating politics, and trips they took to Delaware. He was a fantastic father who went above and beyond for his daughters needs. Many memories including fishing in the lake near his work, driving to sports events and mostly laughing along to his unique humor will forever be missed. He loved the peacefulness that is found in nature. The woods, streams and fields of the neighborhood that he called home. He had a love of old cars, oldies music and ironically mowing the lawn. He had a great appreciation of antiques and the "good ol' days". His dog Riddick will miss snuggling on the living room recliner and sharing lunch time meals.
