Kristine K. Doyle

Kristine K. Irish-Doyle, 56, of Quakertown, formerly of Freemont NE, Omaha NE, and Heinsberg, Germany, died August 18, 2017 in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest after a brief illness. She was the wife of USAF LtColonel Robert D. Doyle. They were married 30 years in April. Born in Fremont, NE she was the daughter of Robert Roy & Marjorie Jean (Woodruff) Irish of Fremont, NE. For the last 23 years she was employed as the Approved Auto Repair Coordinator for AAA East Central, Allentown. Prior to that she worked for NATO in Germany and Mutual of Omaha Insurance Company in Omaha, NE. She was a volunteer for the 111th Fighter Wing, Family Readiness Group where she served as president and secretary for several years. She volunteered with the American Red Cross at the USAF Clinic at a NATO base in Germany. Kristine enjoyed traveling, photography and collecting friends. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by her siblings Sheri Whitney (Mark) of Lynn Haven, FL, Steve Irish of Muenster, Germany, Amy Irish of Kalispell, MT, and Becky Irish of Bend, OR. Several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W.
