Kenneth L. Martin, 77, of Quakertown died December 22, 2008 in his home. He was the husband of Mildred A. (Moose) Martin. They would have been married 55 years on January 23. Born in East Rockhill Twp., he was the son of the late George and Catherine (Wenhold) Martin. Before retiring he was a salesman for Stadler Distributing Company in Plumsteadville. On May 21, 1997, Ken received a heart transplant at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital. He was in the Navy Reserves for two years and was an Army Veteran of the Korean War serving in the 82nd Airborne Division. He was a lifetime member of the Quakertown American Legion Post 242. Ken was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Pleasant Valley. In addition to his wife he is survived by three daughters Jo Rosenberger and her husband Alan of Perkasie, Jan Addington and her husband Eric, of Albany, New York, and Jill Bleam and her husband Douglas of Quakertown. A brother Frederick of Quakertown and a sister Nancy Cate of Knoxville, Tennessee. Two grandchildren Toni Marie Foster and her husband Daniel of Quakertown and Jeffrey Rosenberger of Westford, Massachusettes. One great granddaughter Sage Foster. He was predeceased by a brother George. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity United Church of Christ(Pleasant Valley) 1990 Route 212, Quakertown, PA 18951. There will be no calling hours. Immediately following the service the family will receive relatives and friends at Springfield Church of the Brethren Hall 920 Passer Road, Coopersburg. Arrangements are in the care of the C. R.
