Joyce Thompson 82, of Northampton formerly of Richlandtown and Coopersburg died June 4, 2016 at St. Lukes University Hospital. She was the wife of the late Harvey Charles Thompson. Born in Trumbauersville she was the daughter of the late William & Anna (Frank) Roberts. Before her retirement she was employed by the former Peerless Shoe Factory and the fomer Landis Drapery both in Telford. She was a doll collector especially collecting Marie Osmond Dolls. She enjoyed vacationing in Cape May and Wildwood, and was a seasonal camper at Bakers Acres in Tuckerton, NJ. She is survived by a daughter Joyce Weighknecht, two sons Gregory A. (Robin), and Harvey C. (Cheryl). Four brothers Bill, Franklin, Stewart, and Harold, two sisters Barbara Duna and Peggy Orzel. Seven grandchildren Jason, Megan, Jennifer (Jason), Nicholas, Danielle, Crystal (Brad), and Timmy (Wendy). Five great grandchildren Lilly, Logan, Lucy, Conner, and Tanner. She was predeceased by a son in law Herbert, four brothers Robert, Richard, Leonard, Ronald and two sisters Betty Thomson and Judy Thomas. Services will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
