Obituary Joseph N. Detwiler, 73, of Quakertown died May 4, 2021 in St. Lukes University Hospital, Bethlehem surrounded by his family. Joe was the son of the late Joseph & Elva June (Nyce) Detwiler and grew up in Souderton. Joe was a proud alumni of Bucknell University and worked as a chemist for American Water Works. He is survived by his son Zachary Detwiler and daughter-in-law Snehal Chaudhari, his sister Clara Bergstein and brother-in-law David Bergstein. He is also survived by his companion Florence Dollman, her son David Dollman, nieces, and nephews. Joe enjoyed trivia and was a huge fan of all Philly sports teams. He loved to travel and cook for his family. He had many friends who enjoyed his company, and will miss him dearly. Joe was grateful to DaVita Quakertown for their care and support.
