Joseph F. Nicholas, 89, of Quakertown died February 22, 2011 in Quakertown Center Genesis Health Care. He was the husband of Catherine M. (Joseph) Nicholas. They were married 61 years last April. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Wesley & Kathryn (Kelly) Nicholas. He retired in 1982 as a fork lift operator with Mack Truck in Allentown. He was a U.S. Army Veteran. Joseph was a member of the Quakertown Moose, Quakertown American Legion Post 242, the VFW Post 245 of Sellersville, and Quakertown Knights of Columbus Cardinal Stritch Council #4649. He was a member of St. Isidore's Catholic Church in Quakertown. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Rosemary C. Flagler and her husband Robert Lee of Quakertown. Two sisters Marie Dimicco of Springfield, VA and Elizabeth Petrello of Fredricksburg, VA. He was predeceased by a sister Dolores Nicholas. A Mass will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Isidore's Catholic Church 2545 W. Pumping Station Rd. Quakertown. Call 9:30-10:30 A.M. in the church. The C. R.
