Joseph A. Trinka, 90, of Hilltown Twp., died June 22, 2011. He was the husband of the late Georgia L. (Saunders) Trinka. Born in Philadelphia he was the son of the late John and Stephania (Lascik) Trnka. He owned and operated the former J.A.T. Specialties a machine shop in Almont/Sellersville, retiring in 1992. Joseph was a former assistant scout master for Boy Scouts of America Troop 32 in Hilltown, Pa. He was also a life member of the Milford Township Fish, Game, & Forestry Association, and a member of local Senior Citizen Centers. He also enjoyed gardening and hunting. He was a world traveler, having traveled to Europe, Japan, China, and the Caribbean as well as to Alaska and Hawaii. An avid historian, he enjoyed reading about and sharing his knowledge of history. Joseph was a veteran of the U. S. National Guard. He is survived by his children Georgia J. Stratton and her husband Dr. Frank Stratton of Fenton, Michigan, Joseph R. and his wife Nancy of Puyallup, Washington, and Donald J. and his wife Brenda of Quakertown; seven grandchildren: Scott Stratton, Brian Stratton, Julie Carr, Jonn Trinka, H. Anne Sesnak, Erin Kolb, and Eric Trinka; and nine great grandchildren. Services will be held on Wednesday, June 29, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W.
