Jonathan Edward Henry

August 20, 1981 — September 17, 2022

Obituary My beloved husband and loving father of my children, Jon Henry, passed away here on earth to be with his Lord and Savior in heaven on September 17, 2022. Jon was born on August 20, 1981 in Abington Pennsylvania. He went to Cheltenham High School and attended the technical school for woodworking. With the skills he learned at tech school he was able to start working after graduation for a friend. They later had their own business together, J&B Finish Carpenters. He then worked for Paul Davis Restoration where he was a project manager. When our youngest was born he decided to start his own business, Jon Henry Plumbing and Remodeling. I thought he was a little crazy, but I trusted him! His business flourished under his expertise and care. He mentored many young men who had worked for him to become what God desired and planned for them to be, not just Jons employee. Jon also included our boys in his mentorship, equipping them with skills that they will forever use. The love, care, and fairness he gave to his customers will be something remembered. The friendships he made meant so much to him. We attended Pennridge Christian Fellowship as a family. There Jon was a youth pastor for the past three years, as well as worship leader and Deacon. He loved his church family so much! Jon left behind his loving wife Rachael, amazing awesome sons Jeremy and Andrew, his loving mom, dad, brother, brother-in laws, sisters-in-laws, nieces, and nephews. Jon is reunited with his sister Jennifer, who passed away a little over two years ago, as well as nieces/nephews that he can now play with in heaven. He was the best husband, father, son, son-in-law, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend anyone could ask for. Jon poured himself into our family and set such a Godly example. He showed us unconditional love every day. The Godly example he set for me personally and for our kids is something that we will continue to strive for. The adventures he shared with our sons will be forever cherished in our hearts! Honey I love you! I cant imagine living without you! You were my everything! You were the best part of me! Im forever grateful that I was able to share a 22 year relationship with you with almost 19 years of marriage. You were the best dad and the best husband! I will do my best to keep raising the boys in a way that would make you proud! Thank you for laying the ground work for our family which was so important! I will do my best to continue your legacy. We know even though the loss we feel is tremendous, we can take comfort that you are rejoicing with the angels and our Lord and Savior in heaven. Honey, you have fought the good fight, you have finished the race, you have kept the faith. You have crossed over from this life, into your forever life with JESUS! John 5:24 "Truly, truly, I tell you, whoever hears My word and believes Him who sent me, has eternal life, and will not come under judgement. Indeed, he has crossed over from death to life.
