John Molnar

John Molnar, 75, of Quakertown died April 29, 2014 in his home. He was the husband of Melissa (Mann) Molnar. They were married 23 years last September. Born in Budapest, Hungary he was the son of the late Antal & Erzabet (Szabo) Molnar. After 46 years of service he retired in 2012 from the Borough of Quakertown where he was an electrical supervisor. John enjoyed camping and golfing. He was an avid Flyers and Yankees fan. He was a professional soccer player in his earlier years. He was a member of First United Church of Christ in Quakertown. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Alyssa of Freeland and Megan at home. A son Chad from a previous marriage. A brother Jozsef and his twin sister Marika Gyenes both of Budapest Hungary. Two grandchildren. His mother and father in law Donald & Sara Jane (Shelly) Mann of Quakertown, two brother in laws Dave Mann (Mary Anne) of East Greenville and Steve Mann (Deb) of Richlandtown. Nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews. Predeceased by a brother Antal. A service will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 8:00 P.M. in First United Church of Christ 151 S. 4th St. Quakertown, PA 18951. Call 6:00-8:00 PM in the church. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
