John Madey, 74, of Williamsport, Pa died July 4, 2013 at Penn State Hershey Medical Center. He was the husband of Edith (Gooch) Madey. They were married 47 years this past April. Born in Nanticoke, PA he was the son of the late John & Mary (Balutanski) Madey. He served as a Pennsylvania State Trooper for 32 years before retiring and a member of the Fraternal Order of Police. John was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons John H. and his wife Kelly, and Robert J. and his wife Jodi. One brother Henry (Hank) Madey and three sisters Mary Tullai, Johanna Locke, and Theresa Zidek. Two grandchildren John R. and Parker. There will be no services. The C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
