Johanna Mitchell

Johanna Mitchell, 84, of Lansdale formerly of Philadelphia, and Hatfield, died April 6, 2015 in Manor Care, Montgomeryville. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Mitchell. Born in Philadelphia she was the daughter of the late Francis Joseph Kirby & Hannah (Zechoski) Kirby Kreer. She was last employed in the deli of the former Ralphs Market. She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lansdale. Johanna is survived by her son Thomas and his wife Patti of Lansdale. A brother Thomas M. Kirby of Rockledge, two sisters Mary E. Leidy of Hatfield and Maureen T. Grasso of Hatboro. Three grandchildren Tom, Jr. (Erica), Patti Foresto (Andrew) and Katie Mitchell. Four great grandchildren Andrew Foresto, Joshua Mitchell, and twins Lillian and Sophia Mitchell. Predeceased by a brother Francis Joseph Kirby and a sister Helen I. Grubb. A mass will be held on Friday, April 10, 2015 at 11:00 A.M.in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church 501 E. Main St. Lansdale, Pa 19446. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church.
