Joan C. Koenig, 84, of Coopersburg died December 26, 2017 in her home. She was the wife of Charles Richard Koenig. They were married 66 years in September. Born in Long Island, NY she was the daughter of the late Ward & Marjorie (Venue) Seaman. She enjoyed reading and cleaning. In addition to her husband she is survived by three daughters Bonnie A. Ziegler, Kathy L. Stoudt (Merrill) and Debbie L. Kurlowich (Edward). Two sisters Barbara Angstadt and Fairlie Godshall (Terry). 8 grandchildren Tiffany Schantzenbach whom they raised, Dawn Milligan, Heather Swinney, Douglas Stoudt, David Weikel, Jimmy Swinney, Daniel Ziegler, Jr., Casey Swinney. 10 great grandchildren Kelsey, Kyle, Austin, Jimmy, Xaiver, Brandon, Cody, Carter, Ella, Jayson. Predeceased by a daughter Joann M. Weikel, and son in law Daniel Ziegler and a brother Jeff W. Seaman. Service will be held on Friday, December 29, 2017 at 11:30 A.M. in the C. R.
