Jesse L. Trumbauer, 59 of East Greenville died Saturday April 7, 2007 in Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Nancy L. (Gerhart) Trumbauer. They celebrated their 38th wedding anniversary last September. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Clifford L. and Ruth E. (Rukwied) Trumbauer. Before his retirement in November 2005, Jesse was a rural mail carrier for the East Greenville Post Office. Prior to that he was employed by Georgia Pacific in Quakertown, He was also the former owner operator of both Frank's Beer Stein in Quakertown and the Park Hotel in Port Allegany. He also served as the chief of police of the Trumbauersville Police Department and as a PA State Trooper. His employment started as a truck driver for Haines and Kibblehouse. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Trumbauersville. He was also a member of the Quakertown Masonic Lodge, the Coudersport Consistory and the Sellersville Moose. Jesse was a U.S. Navy veteran and a member of the Quakertown American Legion. In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters Dawn Marie Trumbauer- Wright and her husband Tyrone of Bethlehem and Shannon Jessica Keim and her husband E. Joseph of Pennsburg. Two sisters Lois Sweigart and her husband Larry and Janet L. Sinnott and her husband Nick both of Quakertown. Five grandchildren, Asia Wright, Seattle Smith, Noah Keim, Rayne Wright and Kyndred Wright. Memorial services will be held on Wednesday evening April 11, at 7:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church 1 Luther Lane, P.O. Box 569 Trumbauersville PA 18970.
