James E. Fitzgerald, 59, Center Valley, died September 10th at St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Patricia (McCarthy) Fitzgerald. They celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary on February 24, 2008. James was employed for 41 years as a press operator for the former Delbar in Perkasie. Born in Clearfield, PA, he was the son of the late Raymond and Helen (Simcox) Fitzgerald. He was a US Army veteran. James is survived by two sons - Shawn Fitzgerald of Center Valley and James Fitzgerald and his wife Carrie Ann of Whitehall; a brother - Marvin, a sister - Mary, and two granddaughters - Alexa and Angelica. In addition to his parents, James was preceded in death by a sister Althea and three brothers - Gary, Bob, and Raymond. Services will be held on Tuesday, September 16th at 2:00 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown. Call from 1:00-2:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
