Irene V. Swartley, 65, of Sellersville died Wednesday, July 26, 2006 in Grand View Hospital, West Rockhill Twsp. She was the wife of Donald E. Swartley. They were married 47 years last November. Born in Milford Twsp, she was the daughter of Jacob M. & Mary (Bender) Janney of Benton, PA. She was a self-employed Tupperware consultant receiving many awards for top sales on the East Coast. She was a former girl scout leader in the Perkasie area. Irene enjoyed the mountains and flowers. In addition to her husband and parents she is survived by four daughters Donna I. Swartley of Norristown, Sheila wife of Terry Copenhaver of Souderton, Tracy wife of Kenneth Dildine of Allentown, and Nadine A. wife of Eles Barnes of Lansdale. Five brothers Jacob C., Ronald, Robert, Barry, and David. Five sisters Nancy Fox, Sandy Rosenberger, Linda Reily, Judy Ashelman, and Susan Reabuck. Two grandchildren Kimberly and Travis. She was predeceased by a brother Daniel. Services will be held on Saturday, July 29, 2006 at 3:30 P.M. at the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown.
