Ida Huhn

Ida Huhn, 93, of Coopersburg entered into eternal rest on October 16, 2017 in her beloved farm house surrounded by her nephew William Roberts and his wife Carol (Thompson) Roberts. Also at her bedside was her companion cat Moses and parrot Nantie. She was the wife of the late Harold Huhn. She was born in Almont, PA on May 28, 1924 to the late William & Katie (Harner) Roberts. She was a life time member of Chestnut Hill Church Coopersburg, PA. Ida will forever be remembered for her love of life and love of animals. She and her husband raised deer in years gone by and among many other furry and feathered friends. A love for her farm was embedded deep within her heart and it was her deepest desire to remain on the farm to the very end. Her working years were also spent at the former sewing textile in Quakertown. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends. She was predeceased by three brothers and two sisters. At Idas request there will be a graveside service on Monday, October 23, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Chestnut Hill Cemetery 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Rd. Coopersburg, PA 18036. Please feel free to bring your lawn chair. Arrangements are being handled by the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown.
