Herbert H. Yoder, 86, of Perkasie died October 16, 2015 in Grand View Hospital, Sellersville. He was the husband of the late Elizabeth K. (Steich) Yoder. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Rev. Abram & Laura (Stout) Yoder. He retired April 1, 1992 after 27 years of employment at the former U.S. Gauge in Sellersville. He was a volunteer with the Pennridge Meals on Wheels. Herbert was also a former President of Pennridge Little League, and a former Scout Leader Pack 11 in Perkasie. He also enjoyed studying genealogy. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Korean War. Herbert was a member of Calvary Church of Souderton and attended Rockwild Union Sunday School. Survived by three sons Brent, Bradford Scott, Sr. both of Perkasie, and Steven Brook of St. Croix. Two brothers Donald of Souderton and Daniel of Lansdale, a sister Esther Titus of Sellersville. Four grandchildren Bradford Scott, Jr., Stephanie M. Lombo, Jenelle M. Yoder and Tabitha R. Yoder. Ten great grandchildren Julia Penecale, Mason Lombo, Zoe Paul, Rozlyn Paul, Micaiah Yoder, Rocco Yoder, Caleb Fisher, Jayden Fisher, Jacelyn Drayton, and Miyalina Drayton Predeceased by two brothers David and Paul, and three sisters Dorothy Derstine, Gladys Allebach, and Miriam Anders. Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at Calvary Church of Souderton 820 Route 113 Souderton, PA 18964. There will be no calling hours. Family will greet friends and family at the luncheon immediately following the service. Arrangements are being handled by the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) Quakertown.
