Henry N. Hopcke, Jr. 81, of Quakertown formerly of Toms River, North Plainfield and Dunellen, NJ., died May 25, 2011 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of the late Gloria A. (Drusback) Hopcke, whom he missed dearly. Born in Jersey City, NJ he was the son of the late Henry N., Sr. & Emma (Waylet) Hopcke. Before his retirement he was an Independent Insurance Agent and owner of the former Hopcke Insurance Agency which covered the state of New Jersey. He was a member of the Quakertown Moose and the Trumbauersville Fire Co. He was also the former treasurer of the Berkeley Chapter of Deborah Hospital in New Jersey. He also enjoyed lighthouses, his fish pond, the shore, shopping, food, a good joke and dancing. Henry was a member of Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church of Trumbauersville where his daughter Carolann serves as Pastor. He was a member of the choir, chair of the memorial garden committee, and member of the newsletter and bulletin team and also enjoyed making and selling the Easter candy. He was a former member of St. Thomas Lutheran Church of Brick Twp., NJ and St. Luke's Lutheran Church of Dunellen, NJ. He was also a veteran of the National Guard. Henry is survived by his children who he was so proud of Robert H. and his spouse Paul of Berkeley, California, and The Rev. Carolann Hopcke, of Quakertown with whom he resided. He was predeceased by a brother Bob and sister in law Beverly. Services will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 3:00 P.M. at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church 1 Luther Lane, Trumbauersville, PA. Calling hours will be held on Saturday evening May 28th from 7:00-8:30 P.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, Pa 18951 and Sunday, May 29th from 1:30-3:00 P.M. in the church. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church P. O.
