Helen Hottel, 100, of Quakertown died February 2, 2015 in St. Lukes Hospice House, Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Harold Hottel. Born in Trumbauersville she was the daughter of the late Norman & Rosa (Krause) Wieand. She and her late husband owned and operated the former Richlandtown Luncheonette, the former Core Restaurant in Center Valley and the former whole sale retail tobacco store in Quakertown. She was a member of the Upper Bucks Senior Center, AARP, and enjoyed annual vacations to Atlantic City to see Miss America. Helen was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Center Valley. Survived by a brother Henry K. Wieand of Quakertown. Predeceased by brothers Russell, Howard, Earl, Luther and Paul and a sister Mabel Ackerman. Services will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951.
