Harry W. Meck, 71, of Quakertown died February 22 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late William M. & Eleanor C. (Hinkel) Meck. Mr. Meck was a graduate of Quakertown Community High School, class of 1953, and played the violin with the schools orchestra from seventh through twelfth grade. After graduation Mr. Meck continued his education at Muhlenberg College in Allentown where he pursed a Liberal Arts majoring in Social work. In 1966 he earned his A.B. degree in Sociology. After graduation from Muhlenberg he was employed with the Adult Probation Department at the Bucks County Courthouse for 14 years retiring in 1980. Harry was also employed by the Highway Department for many years. He was a life long member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Quakertown. He is survived by a sister Anita Karna of Lansdale.
