Harry W. Griffith

Harry W. Griffith, Sr., 73, of Trumbauersville died November 13, 2014 in his home. He was the husband of Marie E. (Hellerman) Griffith. They were married 52 years last June. Born in Pittsburgh, PA he was the son of the late John J. & Mary M. (Barnhart) Griffith. He was a former employee of the Horace W. Longacre Co. Harry was a lifetime member of the North Penn Gun Club and the Betterment Club both of Trumbauersville. He also was a collector of coins, bells, and U.S. Navy hats. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War and a member of the Quakertown American Legion Post #242. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church in Trumbauersville. In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons Harry W., Jr. and his fianc Tammy Chamberlin, Edward A. (Janet), and Michael J. (Jennifer). A brother Ronald, three sisters Catherine Kutris (John), Cora Socokolich, and Elizabeth Leach (William). Four grandchildren Thomas Diehl, Harry, III (Anna), Kayla, and Alexis. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Christ Lutheran Church 1 Luther Lane, Trumbauersville, Pa 18970. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M. in the church.
