Harriet A. Bortz, 74, of Quakertown formerly of Coopersburg died August 23, 2010 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. She was the wife of the late Richard Paul Bortz. Born in Bethlehem she was the daughter of the late Harold K. & Cora (Mease) Amey. She was an LPN for the former Zohlman's Nursing Home before retirement. Harriet enjoyed playing Bingo several times a week and doing crossword puzzles. She was a member of St. John's U.C.C. of Coopersburg where she was a former choir member. She is survived by a two sons Peter J. and his wife Laura of Wyoming, DE and Jason P. of Coopersburg. Two grandchildren Alyssa, Elijah. Services will be held on Friday, August 27, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA. Call 10:00-11:00 A.M.
