Harold W. Kocher, 81 of Quakertown died Saturday September 30, 2006 in St. Luke's Quakertown Hospital. He was the husband of Kathryn L. (Lewis) Kocher. They celebrated their 59th wedding anniversary last August. He retired from the former Bethlehem Steel after many years of service. Born in Bethlehem he was the son of the late Kenneth and Florence (Hessler) Kocher. He was a U.S. Army Scout serving during WWII. He was also a 50 year member of the Quakertown American Legion. Harold was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Quakertown. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter Nancy Hill and her husband John of Quakertown and a son Jim Kocher and his partner Timothy Hillmer of Pittsburgh. Two granddaughters Nichole Hersh and Rebecca Hersh. He was predeceased by a daughter Valerie Kocher. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements by C. R.
