Harold M. Weaver, 83, of Coopersburg died Tuesday, October 21, 2008 in St. Luke's Hospital, Bethlehem. He was the companion of Sandra J. Goodman. Born in Coopersburg he was the son of the late Claude and Mabel (Snyder) Weaver. He retired in 1980 as a foreman for the former Bethlehem Steel. Harold was a U. S. Army Veteran serving with the Third Armor Division in WW II receiving a good conduct medal with five bronze stars, the purple heart and distinguished unit badge and the Victory medal. He was also a member of the Hellertown American Legion Edward F. Ackerman Post #397. In addition to his companion he is survived by a son Rodney H. and his wife Tammy of Quakertown and a daughter Wendy J. Bachman and her husband Carl of Palmerton. Three brothers Kenneth and his wife Gladys, Arthur and his wife Mildred, William and his wife Shirley. A sister Carol Stahley and her husband Donald. Five grandchildren Kristie Lyon and her husband Thomas, Jill Bachman, Kyle Bachman and his wife Leanne, Ian Weaver, and Jarrett Weaver. Four great grandchildren Kaden, Hailey, Taylor, and Tyler. He is also survived by his companions children John Michael, Tammy J. Schrantz, Robert A. & Richard L. He was predeceased by two brothers Albert and Claude and two sisters Viola McCarthy and Elsie Schoenberger. Services will be held on Friday, October 24, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R.
