Harold F. Solomon, 76 of Quakertown died Thursday June 5, 2008 in his home. He was the long time companion of Joyce A. Nace and the husband of the late Margaret (Cullum) Solomon. He was last employed at the Hatfield Wal-Mart prior to that he retired as a Fire Dispatcher from the Dania Beach Florida Fire Department. Born in Lock Haven, PA he was the son of the late Harold A. and Mary E. (Shope) Solomon. Harold enjoyed painting and drawing pictures, reading and his beloved cats. In addition to his companion he is survived by two daughters Kathy Solomon of Quakertown and Vicki Vitale and husband Gary of Albrightsville. A brother Donald and wife Faye of Lewistown and a sister Linda Ely and husband Jim of Mill Hall. A grandson Bennett and six great grandchildren. He is also survived by his companions children Aaron Woodard, Alan Woodard, Melanie Dropik, and Michelle Garrett. He was predeceased by a son Michael A. Memorial services will be held on Monday June 9, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc. (www.crstrunk.com) 821 W. Broad St. Quakertown, PA 18951. No calling hours.
