Harold F. Snyder, 80 of Chalfont formerly of Quakertown died May 20, 2005 in Belle Haven Nursing Home in Quakertown. He was a lab technician for Merck & Co. in West Point before retiring in 1989. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Ardie and Margaret (Courtney) Snyder. Harold was a graduate of Tulane University of Louisiana and a WWII veteran serving in the U.S. Navy. He is survived by a niece Barbara A. Carter and her husband Jack Carter of Hatfield and their daughter Crystal Carter. He was predeceased by two sisters Anna Yoder and Helen Snyder and a brother Skip Snyder. Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday May 24, 2005 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery Route 212 Pleasant Valley Pa.
