Guy L. Foulke, Sr., 84, of Quakertown died suddenly April 20, 2009. He was the husband of Vivian (Mease) Foulke. They were married 59 years last September. Born in Quakertown he was the son of the late Charles & Hilda (Etter) Foulke. He and two of his brothers were co-owners of the former Charles Foulke Trucking in Sellersville. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Quakertown. Guy was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II., and a life member of the Quakertown American Legion Post #242, where he was awarded a 50 year volunteer service award. He enjoyed hunting, playing poker and pool and riding ATV's and motorcycles. He especially enjoyed his family and in addition to his wonderful wife he is survived by his children Guy L., Jr. of Hilton Head, SC, Rex of Spinnerstown, Susan Serrill of Quakertown, Kurt of Levittown, and Kelly Blondin of Haymarket, VA. A brother Ralph of Milford Square, two sisters Fay Barndt of Quakertown and Shirley Weikert of Perkasie. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was predeceased by an infant daughter Lori and two brothers Etter & Jack. Services will be held Friday, April 24, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. in the C. R. Strunk Funeral Home, Inc.
